As a manager, I learned very quickly the importance of "walking the talk" and modelling the behaviours and working practices that I was asking of my team. I also noticed that my best thinking occurred when I was away from the desk, taking a walk with my inner talk.
A change of physical surroundings can bring about a change in your mental perspective or mindset, propelling you forwards both literally and metaphorically!
I offer walking sessions in green areas in South West London, including (but not limited to) Richmond Park, Wimbledon Common, Putney Heath, Sheen Common, and Barnes Common.
Sessions are the usual 90 minutes and I will devise a bespoke walking route for each session, allowing for opportunities for stillness and quiet reflection in addition to individual needs in terms of pace and terrain.
